Millennium Fellowship Project: StudentBodyHealth
Student Body Health offers seminars and workshops to students in underprivileged neighborhoods to help them improve their mental and physical health. So far, we have raised $7k from philanthropy donors in South Florida to start our own club at a performing arts high school, Gstar school of the Arts. We have hosted over 20+ large scale events over the past four years of the program and appeared on the news multiple times for the positive impact within our community. Student Body Health aims to educate all students about the importance of taking care of their mental and physical health through these events, especially when their academic curriculums may not offer sufficient health education.
About the Millennium Fellow
Alexis Bardy is in her third year of Undergrad at NYU Stern School of Business where she is majoring in Business and Political Economy with a double-minor in Social Entrepreneurship and French. Throughout her time at NYU she has studied in London, Madrid, Shanghai, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Overall, Alexis adores learning about new cultures and is easily adaptable to any new environment. At 15, Alexis created her first business by the name of “StudentBodyHealth,” where she fundraised $11k to create events for students to learn about the importance of taking care of their physical and mental health. She is thrilled to craft a program with the Millennium Fellowship and create positive change within her community to last for generations to come.
