" ishrat-e-qatra hai dariyā meñ fanā ho jaanā dard kā had se guzarnā hai davā ho jaanā (It is the ecstacy of a drop to lose itself into the river
When pain shoots off-limit it transcends into its cure)
- Ghalib
Having grown up in a neighborhood where the nearest library was more than 250 kms. away, I am determined to bring libraries to neglected communities, who do not have access to the same. This is not only for educational purposes but to give a stage where cultural voices can amplify and inform larger communities and academic circles. An aspect of priority for me is to build community libraries that focus on folk literature. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Vikramshila Public University Development Project

The research entailed collecting primary economic and demographic data and formulating a social impact report about a land acquisition project in Bihar, India, namely the Vikramshila Central University project. The project tries to assess the compensation measure that could limit the gentrification in the area and protect the land rights of the tribal community and lower cast landholding families. Based on this research, a policy memo is in due process to be framed and shared both with the on-ground community advocacy organizations and the Department of Higher Education, which could inform and help ship the land acquisition project in the area. It also particularly examines the ecological and archaeologically fragile areas and protection.
