" "Change is a long process, but by no means an impossible one, it is one that is always well within reach." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Violet Move
Violet Move is a student-led sustainability initiative at NYU that aims to collect usable dorm items during student move-out to reduce waste, donate these items to students in the fall, promoting circular economy principles, and reduce landfill waste, contributing to NYU’s sustainability goals (STARS, Sustainability Tracking Assessment & Rating System), all under SDG 12.
About the Millennium Fellow
Christina Coviello is a sophomore at New York University. She has a concentration in sustainability, health, and the enviornment with a minor in politics. She is on the pre-law path and is intrested in environmental science. She is dedicated to helping those who do not have a voice. Living her whole life in an urban area she was startled about the stugles minorities faced in the rising urbanization and environmental crisis, and through her project hopes to support those in need.
