Millennium Fellowship Project: Read A Book Initiative
The Read A Book Initiative is focused on SDG 4 and 5. Our goal is to give children and adolescents access to quality education, improve their literacy and digital skills. We donate storybooks and other educational materials to children in public schools in Africa. We also hold workshops for the teachers.
About the Millennium Fellow
Chinwendu Augusta Nwachukwu is a Writer, Editor, and Certified SGBV Advocate. She is currently pursuing a degree in Demography and Social Statistics at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Born in Lagos and now residing in Osun, Nigeria, she is deeply committed to advancing the rights of women and children, with particular focus on Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 5 (Gender Equality).
Throughout her university years, Chinwendu has led various projects and collaborated with campus organizations dedicated to promoting these goals. She aims to build a career where she can contribute research-based solutions to the challenges facing women and children.
