United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empower Her

The Empower Her project is targeted at young girls in their teenage years in rural communities. The focus is on reducing period poverty, educating young girls on menstrual hygiene and mental health issues that are associated with menstrual cycle.

About the Millennium Fellow

Damilola Esther Arowosola is a passionate girl, passionate about the girl child and personal development. She is a second year medical student who hopes to become the best version of herself and make impact on the lives of young girls in Nigeria and around the world.
