About the Millennium Fellow
Awoyemi Fisayo Kanyinsola is a young, brilliant lady who hails from Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State. She is the first of five children and a believer. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and currently attends Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Fisayo's passion for impact has enabled her to take up positions of leadership from an early age. She believes that the male gender has been deprived of their rights to emotional freedom, as society expects them to conform to a particular way of living.
Fisayo is actively involved in student politics, where she currently holds the position of Clerk of IFUMSA SRB, among others. She hopes to be the voice of her generation by venturing into grassroots politics, where she can contribute to making policies that suit the masses.
