Millennium Fellowship Project: Breast Cancer Awareness
It's an health walk project aimed at educating and enlightening the local community particularly the market women, ladies and girls about breast cancer, symptoms, possible causes, preventive measures and importance of self breast examination.
About the Millennium Fellow
Zainob Oluwaferanmi Sobowale is an undergraduate majoring in the field of physiology at Olabisi Onabanjo University. She was born in Ogun state, Nigeria. Zainob is an enthusiastic and passionate social impact advocate and an NGO volunteer.
Zainob has volunteered in multiple roles and collaborated with different organisations to carry out social impact projects. They have worked on several projects, some of which were to commemorate International Women's Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the International Day of Education, and so many more. It is her belief that change starts with you; the little efforts we can make in our community go a long way in impacting lives positively.
Zainob plans to be in a professional field where she can cultivate these social impact advocate further and provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals.
