" Medicine and patient care for have a history of discrimination against marginalized groups including people of color and women, leading to poor health outcomes for these groups. With the help of the Millennium Fellowship, I can bring attention to these systemic issues and find ways to improve patient care and reduce biases and unfair treatment. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Health(Care?)

Health(care?) is a newspaper that was born to bring you stories where we can understand the feelings of those left behind. Who is on the other side of the widening chasm in healthcare? These disparities are not new. They are deeply rooted, sometimes entwined with the origin of our country. These are also not isolated issues. Rather, they are woven in the tapestry of our healthcare system; yet often, they are hidden away from the spotlight. That's why we created Health(care?).
