I'm excited because of the challenge and the outcome of it all. Also, I do the work that I do for people like myself, for the future generations afters me. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Through their Eyes
This was a project based on helping students, more importantly female sin the STEM filed in gaining opportunities. Advocating for the access of opportunities for those in minority groups and underrepresented communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anne Roy, an uprising Junior at Pace University. A very dedicated young black girl, not afraid to take up challenges. Love nayhting artistic, and loves science. She involved herself in social justice when she started working for the Andrew Goodman Foundation, under CCAR(Center for Community Action and Research). She believes in helping people, in community justice, and in accessible opportunities for all. She is very dedicated about the things she involves herself in. She loves to think and brainstorm huge ideas that will not only impack herself but others as well. Overall, just likes to be organized while going with the flow.
