" Small habits people have in their individual lives can make the biggest difference, leading to global impact. I look forward to being a Millennium Fellow as it gives me the opportunity to actively work and collaborate on making the UN SDG's a reality. I am driven by my passion for environmental sustainability, and I view it as my responsibility to contribute to the positive changes I wish to see for our world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Pace Against Waste
Pace Against Waste is a project that aims to educate and inform. Pace Against Waste advocates for a more sustainable campus through individual habits, specifically to reduce the waste of single use plastic. Efforts are made through creating informative social posts and flyers on how to make sustainable decisions. Since the projects launch, reusable utensil sets have been made available for purchase on campus.
