" I’m excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me the chance to work with a diverse group of people who are all dedicated to making a difference. The support and resources from the fellowship will help me turn my ideas into real actions and make a positive impact on global challenges. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The War Through Children’s Eyes
My initiative, The War Through Children’s Eyes, focuses on raising awareness about the impact of war on Ukrainian children’s lives, especially in education and well-being. This project invites children affected by the conflict to create art reflecting their experiences. The artwork, paired with brief stories about each child, will be exhibited at Pace University campuses to engage the university community in understanding these children’s realities. By showcasing their perspectives, I aim to highlight how war disrupts education, which is critical to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). This project seeks to inspire empathy and support for children facing these hardships. The gallery is booked for the spring semester since it was hard to get a spot.
