Millennium Fellowship Project: GreenPulse
Inspired by SDG 13, focusing on climate action and fostering a greener environment, this project aims to transform small urban spaces into lush green areas, emphasizing that even minimal efforts in gardening can significantly contribute to a healthier, more sustainable future. We want to demonstrate that anyone can participate in greening their surroundings regardless of their schedule. Through GreenPulse, we hope to inspire others to take small but meaningful steps toward creating a greener society, fostering better health, and combating the environmental challenges of urbanization. 🌱🌳
About the Millennium Fellow
Nidhi Balur is a creative, gentle, poised and eager Biotechnology Engineering student at PES University. She was born and raised in, and is currently studying in Bengaluru, India. Since childhood she has been vocal about women's issues, often advocating for equality to all. Growing up with exposure to various issues gave her the insight to work on solving problems and making the society more welcoming. She has always been keen to learn and actively takes part in volunteering opportunities. Nidhi has often participated in social impact ventures throughout her education. Nidhi dreams of creating a difference in the world, step by step, and aspires to restore and reinvent the idea of a clean and sustainable Earth.
