Millennium Fellowship Project: Roots of Wellness
Roots of Wellness is an initiative focused on enhancing both mental and physical wellness. The project addresses the widespread issue of mental health neglect, particularly in vulnerable populations like the elderly and orphaned children. By fostering environments that promote active lifestyles, social connections, and emotional support, we aim to reduce loneliness and improve overall wellness. Our goal is to create a blueprint for community-based wellness practices and, ultimately, develop a model that integrates orphanages with old age homes to promote mutual support and intergenerational bonding.
