" "Millennium Fellowship will give me the opportunity to meet like-minded people who are equally excited about helping people in need. I can review my ideas with my peers which will help me come up with the best solutions possible." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Rural Finance Hub

The Rural Finance Hub initiative aims to tackle the lack of
economic and financial literacy in rural and tribal communities in
India. This issue leads to underutilization of resources and
perpetuates poverty despite the presence of significant local
wealth. The hub will address this gap by providing practical
training in financial management, entrepreneurship, and resource
utilization. The goal is to equip individuals with the skills and
knowledge needed to start and sustain their own businesses,
thereby promoting economic self-reliance. By collaborating with
an NGO, the initiative plans to create sustainable, long-term
impact by improving financial decision-making and fostering
entrepreneurship, which can drive economic growth in these
underserved areas.
