" I'm driven by a deep commitment to bridge the gap in STEM education and empower women and underprivileged communities. Having come from a similar background, I understand the transformative power of education—thanks to the Shiv Nadar Foundation, I was able to pursue my dreams. Being a Millennium Fellow will provide me with the collaborative platform to amplify my impact, align my efforts with SDG's, and connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for creating lasting social change. I'm excited to learn, grow, and give back to help build a more inclusive and equitable world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: STEMpire
STEMPire is an initiative dedicated to bridging the gender gap in STEM by empowering young girls from underserved communities to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Recognizing the lack of resources and access in many schools, especially those without science streams, STEMPire creates opportunities for hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to STEM careers.
The project aims to spark curiosity and confidence among girls by providing access to makerspaces, STEM kits, and workshops. Through mentorship sessions and collaborations with educational institutions, we ensure that these girls gain the skills and inspiration needed to dream beyond traditional barriers. STEMPire doesn’t just provide tools—it builds a community of learners and innovators. By addressing systemic gaps in STEM education and focusing on inclusivity, we’re working to create a future where girls are not just participants but leaders in the field. Our vision is clear: a world where every girl has the resources and confidence to thrive in STEM.
