" I believe to have a social impact, one must have to build connections with people as that helps to reach out to those who are willing to step in the journey of social justice. Meeting people with similar or different minds, will thus enhance my knowledge further, with an introduction to new perspectives in spectrum and also involvement in fellowships like such increases my willingness to participate or even host further events. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project : "CUT"
Our project name is "CUT." Cut, the title sounds quite confusing. Let me explain the meaning behind the project name we arranged for such a wonderful opportunity. Since, our project dwells around the area of menstrual health, specifically focusing on the psychological aspect of menstruation restriction put by our Nepalese Society, the name "Cut" immediately clicked. "Cut" means all those cuts, and wounds our sisters, daughters, and mothers had to go through because of the restrictions they were put under. Meanwhile, "CUT implies it is high time now that we women along with the help of men should cut these chains of restrictions to introduce a breakthrough in the menstrual world. Therefore, the project "CUT empowers everyone to participate in helping the liberation of women from imposed menstrual restrictions.
