Millennium Fellowship Project: Homesickness and Academic Performance in University Students

Studies show that there is a significant relationship between Homesickness and Academic Performance of hostelite students. Therefore, the basic purpose of this study was to find the relationship between Homesickness and Academic Performance by comparing the results of first year and last year students of the University of the Punjab, Lahore that were living in the hostels. The basic purpose of taking this population was that it was easily approachable by the researcher and contain a large number of students who were hostelites and came from different areas of Pakistan. There were two variables of this study that are homesickness and academic performance.

About the Millennium Fellow

Aiman Malik is a competitive and hardworking student.She was born in Tehail shakargarh, district Narowal. She is currently living in a girls hostel of pubjab university lahore as she is the student of Bs clinical psychology at Centre for Clinical Psychology, Punjab University,Lahore. She can work under pressure and she always tries to help others. She is empathetic and an active listener.She sees herself as a competitive and successful clinical psychologist in future.
