United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project ROWETH

Project ROWETH is a grassroots initiative empowering middle school students in small-town India. We aim to improve the quality of education by enhancing learning outcomes, developing 21st-century skills, fostering a love for learning, and empowering communities. To achieve this, we conduct teacher training, develop engaging curriculum materials, leverage technology, implement mentorship programs, and engage with parents and community members. By working together, we can create a brighter future for these young minds.

About the Millennium Fellow

Krishnangi born in Jaipur, India is currently a law student at Rajiv Gandhi National University of law, Punjab. Demonstrating a well-rounded skill set and a passion for personal growth, Krishnangi has excelled in various fields. Their athletic prowess is evident in their consistent top performance in intra-school athletics, culminating in four consecutive victories in the 800m race. Their leadership skills have been honed through managing large student groups for various events and initiatives, showcasing their ability to inspire and motivate others.
Beyond their academic and athletic pursuits,Krishnangi is deeply committed to social impact. Their contributions to the community include distributing food to the homeless during the Covid-19 pandemic, volunteering with organizations that provide education and resources to underprivileged children, and participating in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Their academic curiosity is reflected in their co-authored research paper on "Youth and Spirituality," which explores the intersection of these two significant aspects of human experience.
Krishnangi has also cultivated a global perspective through their travels and experiences. Their firsthand exposure to social issues faced by women, children, and the underprivileged in rural communities has deepened their understanding of the world and inspired their desire to make a positive impact.
In addition to their academic and social endevours, Krishnangi has developed a diverse range of skills and interests. Their passion for personal growth is evident in their pursuit of lifelong learning through online courses, language acquisition (French), and active seeking of opportunities for self-improvement. Their artistic talents include painting, doodling, and photography, while their love for adventure and sports has led them to participate in various activities such as yoga, fitness training, and meditation.
Krishnangi's commitment to environmental and biodiversity conservation is demonstrated through their active participation in relevant initiatives. Their ability to effectively communicate and think entrepreneurially positions them well for future endevours. Overall, Krishnangi is a well-rounded individual with a strong foundation of skills and interests, making them a valuable asset to any team or organization.
