" I am driven to provide innovative and creative ideas, particularly in agriculture. I am dedicated to addressing global agriculture and climate challenges caused by agricultural activities. This Millennium program focused on cultivating a generation of leaders committed to addressing global challenges. By empowering students to take action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the program seeks to foster innovation, collaboration, and social impact aligns with my future focus. I expect to be transformed and equipped with skills that will help to achieve my career goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Shewell Initiative

The Shewell Initiative is a youth-led endeavor in Rwanda focused on empowering teen mothers and post-abortion girls. By providing training in mushroom cultivation and supporting the establishment of small businesses, the initiative aims to address various challenges these young women face, including poverty, malnutrition, and limited educational opportunities. Through the cultivation and sale of mushrooms, participants gain valuable skills, generate income, and contribute to their communities. Additionally, the initiative offers childcare support, reproductive health education, and entrepreneurial training to ensure comprehensive support for these vulnerable individuals. The ultimate goal is to create a sustainable future for these young women, empowering them to become self-sufficient and contribute positively to their communities.
