This whole process will help me nurture my personality and abilities, enabling me to help the community having better health & nourishment regardless of their financial conditions eradicating the diseases due to poverty. I will be better able to create awareness among people about this issue with my improved skills of teamwork, time management, making plans and practicing brainstorming for the challenges, I face in order to illuminate poor health conditions & under developing areas epidemic diseases. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Community Healthcare
Under my project, working in a registered society in my university, we work for the public welfare regarding medical assistance and blood cases ...
We arrange *blood camps* where we collect blood bottles for thalassemic patients every 3rd month visiting different colleges and universities and give it to *JAMILA SULTANA FOUNDATION* in Islamabad for thalassemic kids.
Simultaneously, regular blood cases are controlled everyday providing blood to emergency cases by contacting different donors in our lists ( documented and registered ).
We arrange vaccination camp in university twice a year for students to get complete course of vaccination..
We arrange major medicine camps at far off and backward areas where people are needy and poor , we arrange 2-3 days medicine camp at villages and poverty areas with our proper doctors team and medical students for better health facilities and provide them free medicine and consultation about their medical problems..
Our finance department being registered with *Punjab Bait Ul Maal* provides financial support for medical cases to the needy and deserving cases ...
About the Millennium Fellow
Muhammad Jawad Haider is a very bright, leading & competitive person who can lead & organize things by putting 100% efforts and hard work into the thing he's being able to do. He's current doing MBBS third year in Rawalpindi Medical University & basically belonging from Hafizabad. He's an excellent academic student along with doing a lot in co-curricular & extra curricular activities. He's active participant of my social impacting societies. He thinks that basic health facilities should be provided to all despite of their cast, color, race & religion because of this motto of life , he joined medical as a career & then is volunteering for different medical camps, vaccination campaigns & screening sessions. Due to great great exposure & dedication , he was soon able to organize all such things single handedly by itself. With all this he's serving to the mankind to have better health.
