Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Orphan Children through Street School Education
The purpose of the project was expanded beyond basic education. The initiative aimed to equip children with basic literacy, numeracy and essential daily living skills. It aimed to give
them the tools to overcome the challenges of poverty and marginalization by promoting self-
confidence and social integration. Collaboration with volunteers, educators, and local organizations ensured the program was well-structured and sustainable
About the Millennium Fellow
Nadia Iqbal is a young, energetic, and self-motivated undergraduate student at Rawalpindi Medical University. She was born and raised in the rural areas of Pakistan. Despite the lack of modern educational facilities, Nadia worked hard and consistently remained at the top in state education exams. She secured admission on an open merit basis to the highly competitive university in her province. She possesses excellent communication and leadership skills and demonstrates her abilities on various occasions through university events and projects.
