" I am passionate and driven to reduce the negative impacts of the recent environmental degradation, the unequal economic growth and the increasing violence against women, children and various marginalised groups of people. As a Millennium Fellow, I aim to uplift the current environmental issues in India due to the rampant industrialisation affecting humans and wildlife. This Fellowship gives me access to a network of like-minded people, global reach, a platform to address the issues faced by humans and wildlife in India, and the opportunity to work on solutions to address these problems. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: நட்பு (Friendship)

"நட்பு (Friendship)" is a community-based initiative established under the Millennium Fellowship project, with a focus on fostering collaboration among children. The primary objective is to nurture young minds aged 5 to 15 at the elementary level, allowing them to develop before being significantly influenced by external environments. This initiative empowers children from rural areas and economically disadvantaged communities within Chennai.
