About the Millennium Fellow

Maëlle Bowen-Le Cren is a student at Sciences Po Paris, specializing in Asia and the Pacific on the Le Havre campus. Originally from Montpellier, she grew up by the Mediterranean Sea and the Thau Basin, where her surroundings sparked a lifelong curiosity for sea and ocean protection. She has explored a variety of fields, initially drawn to biology, but her interests evolved toward politics, particularly due to the impact of leadership and decision-making. Now, Maëlle is dedicated to understanding global challenges and contributing to meaningful change through global action.
