" "Making a change and changing the system drives my work. I've always wanted to be and do something different. I've always wanted to make a change, to reduce the sufferings of people, to leave my mark and to be creative. I believe my inclusion in this fellowship would give me the opportunity to be more than I currently am and would provide me the platform to achieve my goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Why Not Us?
Due to my deep interest in food insecurity and hunger all over the world, I came up with this project idea. With this idea I aim to bring together great leaders who would assist me in sharing this message and saving food for those in need. We aim to prevent wastage, spoilage while also donating some of ours. I am a big believer in charity works and with this idea, I aim to do it in a bigger way.
About the Millennium Fellow
Divine Ubani Chiagoziem is an aspiring philanthropist that was born in Nigeria but currently living and studying at a medical university in Budapest, Hungary.
While living in Nigeria, he saw the suffering of people wand was often a victim of hunger. Fortunately, he decided to aim up and get his act together. He left his comfort zone(home) at 16 years old to go live with his uncle who instilled some discipline in him. He resolved in his heart to change the situation surrounding his family and the community at large. As God would have it, he got a scholarship to study at Semmelweis University in Budapest. This change has given him the platform to fulfill his dreams and do it in a large way. His message after getting the scholarship was, "watch out for this space". Every year he donates to charity around him and he plans on making it even bigger.
