" "I am deeply committed to empowering first-generation students to break through barriers and achieve higher education. Having overcome the challenges of coming from a community where education is often undervalued, I understand the transformative power of guidance and support. I aspire to be the mentor who helps students realize their potential and pursue their academic dreams, just as others once believed in mine." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: First Generation Counselling

Our project was basically guiding first generation students to get qdmission in foreign universities including European, Amwrican and Chinese universities. We found the people that needed pur services by contacting schools that are in far off places in vilages of Pakistan. Then we had group meetings with them that were online and we told them about the whole process. We also informed them how to get scholarships and how to apply for those. We were focused on female participants because they are not able to get much support from the society and helped them in breaking the norms and perusing higher education.
