Millennium Fellowship Project: First-Generation Counselling
First Generation Counselling is an independent program aiming at helping students from suburb areas who are lack of educational knowledge with information of foreign studies and scholarships.
About the Millennium Fellow
Yichen Zhao is a hard-working student studying at NYU Shanghai from Jiangsu Province in China. She currently intends to complete a double major program of Math and DS. Yichen encountered the theme of environmental protection in high school when she read the book How To Adoid A Climate Disaster written by Bill Gates, and has been learning the updated knowledge about sustainability ever since she entered college. She passionately applied with her hope to participate in activities with greater influence on the society and communicate with students who share the same values from the globe.
