" Empathy and understanding are at the heart of everything I do. Being a Millennium Fellow will allow me to amplify these values through collaborative projects that create meaningful social impact. The experience will help me better address issues of gender equality and patient care, while aligning my efforts with the UN SDGs. I am excited to learn, grow, and contribute to building a more compassionate and inclusive society. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Breast Cancer Art Exihibition

We designed an online website to serve as an accessible exhibition platform for audiences of all knowledge levels about breast cancer. The website provides an introduction to breast cancer, covering common symptoms, stages, survival rates, and risk factors. It also includes guidance on self-detection methods and practical tips for adopting healthier lifestyles and habits to help prevent breast cancer and promote overall well-being.

Currently, as part of the Millennium Fellowship, she is involved in a project that showcases the experiences of breast cancer survivors through verbatim performances. This initiative aims to raise awareness and help audiences better understand the emotions and needs of breast cancer patients. Yuke is deeply committed to promoting gender equality and social justice, and she hopes to continue using her skills and creativity to make a lasting positive impact on the world around her.
