" Empowerment begins with action, and I am driven to transform ideas into impact. As a Millennium Fellow, I hope to continue to amplify the work I do and drive meaningful change collaboratively on a global scale. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerU Food Program
At NYU Shanghai, our diverse student body is one of our greatest strengths, bringing together cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives from around the world. However, this diversity also comes with unique challenges, particularly in the area of food access. Some students face food insecurity or have dietary restrictions that make it difficult to meet their nutritional needs.
The EmpowerU Food Program, developed as part of my Millennium Fellowship project, seeks to tackle these issues head-on. The program provides essential resources and support to students experiencing food hardships while fostering a more inclusive and equitable food environment on campus.
