" Being a Millennium Fellow is not an opportunity; rather, it is a call to amplify the voices of those whose voices do not get heard. Deep within, justice and equality have always served as my purpose in life: empowering others to reclaim their rights and claim their dreams. Every endeavor I take on helps light the way for others who seek to turn their own visions into a life in action, as I do. By raising awareness and sparking collective action, I envision inspiring a generation that pays back—turning these tides of disparity into an opportunity for all." I'm very excited to be part of this program, which is going to have social impact in the community and simultaneously excited about the prospect of meeting like-minded people, alums, and getting their guidance to learn from them, further increasing my competence, and learning better and more efficient ways to bring my vision to reality. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Chaitanya

Through Project Chaitanya, we aimed to promote gender equality, enhance self-awareness, and educate young minds about their rights and bodily autonomy. Our work is aligned with three key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education, Gender Equality and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions The Vision Behind Chaitanya
Even today, many young minds are brought up without a proper understanding of personal boundaries, self-respect, and basic rights. Gender inequality and violation of bodily integrity have been affecting people from all walks of life; however, this gap still exists while its discussion is openly done. Project Chaitanya was designed to bridge that gap and initiate meaningful discussions with young students. We hoped that guiding them on these sensitive topics early on would help them grow into informed individuals who could make empowered choices.
