Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Sahaay
Sahaay is a social enterprise led by students of Symbiosis Law School, Noida. It is dedicated to improving the lives of blue-collar workers in our community. Our mission is to provide these workers with the resources and support they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. At Sahaay, everyone deserves access to the tools and resources they need to succeed. Unfortunately, many blue-collar workers face challenges that make it difficult for them to thrive. These challenges include long hours, physically demanding work, and a lack of access to quality healthcare and education. That's where Sahaay comes in. Our dedicated volunteers and community partners work tirelessly to provide blue-collar workers with the support they need to overcome these challenges. The overarching goal of Project Sahaay is to bridge the gap between government policies and the needs of blue-collar workers, ensuring that these workers are informed, empowered, and able to access the benefits that are intended to improve their well-being and livelihoods.
By providing information and guidance, Project Sahaay empowers workers to take charge of their own well-being. Empowered workers are better equipped to make informed decisions about their financial and social needs, leading to improved overall quality of life. By bringing workers together and creating a sense of community, Project Sahaay will foster a supportive environment where workers will share experiences, knowledge, and resources. This will lead to improved collective well-being. Project Sahaay will also engage in advocacy efforts to highlight the needs and challenges of blue-collar workers to relevant government bodies. By acting as a bridge between workers and policymakers, the organization will work towards policy improvements and more effective implementation.
