Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Vihaan
Project Vihaan is an 8-week hybrid program, both virtual and offline, designed to connect high school students from grades 10, 11, and 12. While we’re starting in Bangalore, our primary focus is on gathering students from Nepal and India to collaborate on open-ended projects with the guidance of accomplished mentors.
Participants will work in small teams, engaging in deep, creative, and collaborative thinking to develop research projects, which can ultimately be published. Mentors and guest speakers will also provide insights into the college admissions process and offer career advice in research and entrepreneurship. *Project Vihaan* is completely free and available to students who have not yet enrolled in university.
Our primary goal is to empower students by guiding them through meaningful research projects, helping them build confidence and create valuable academic and professional portfolios that will serve them well in the future.
This expanded approach ensures that *Project Vihaan* not only meets the immediate needs of students but also evolves to provide lasting impact through continuous support and innovation.
About the Millennium Fellow
My name is Nikita Soni, a globally minded BBA student specializing in finance at Symbiosis International University. I am passionate about social justice, education, and women’s rights, and I have actively worked towards making a positive impact on international communities. As a member of the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2024, I am committed to contributing to the advancement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, using my leadership skills to drive meaningful change.
