" Since my early teens I always wanted to make an impact on the society in some or the other way and being a studious student and a strong advocate for feminism, I wanted to contribute towards quality education and gender equality. Coming into college, gave me that independence and confidence to work for these causes and a platform like Millennium Fellowship program will enhance my skills further and give me an angle of professionalism. I would thrive more in an environment where everyone wants to make a change through small but yet impactful steps. I am enthusiastic for my upcoming journey where I will grow, learn and contribute in making the SDGs come true. "

About the Millennium Fellow
Twisha Srivastava is an ambitious, enthusiastic and focused person. She has lived in multiple cities of India. Since her early teens Twisha has always been passionate about having a world where everyone gets quality education and lives with gender equality as she too comes from a very academically oriented background. She has always stood against prejudices and sexism against women and spoke about it in various debates and assemblies. For promoting quality education specially among underprivileged children, she has successfully conducted various drives in government schools where she taught them how to get quality education using limited resources with the help of easily available technology. She also visits a nearby ngo school every weekend to teach young kids the same. Twisha aspires to see a world where everyone gets the same starting line for quality education and lives equally regardless of their gender. She wants to take her initiative to a large scale using a professional platform and contribute to the SDGs in her own way.
