" I am very excited for my jouney in this program as it will help me in joining hands with experts to bring my idea to reality. I hope it will help me connect with like minded people who are determined to bring about a positive change and create an impact on the future generation. I chose my project to fill in the gap for rural students when they join colleges with students educated in cities. When I joined college, initially I saw people struggle with that. So I wanted to do something that could help overcome this situation and that's how my team mates and I came up with this project. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Vidya
Project Vidya - The primary objective of this project is to provide high-quality, affordable education to students. The realization of how the ability to acquire skills of personal interest is a significant privilege in today's society emerged during a conversation with a peer. This project seeks to bridge that gap by ensuring that students gain meaningful knowledge and skills. If even a small number of students can reflect on their learning experience and feel more confident and satisfied with the knowledge they have acquired, the project will have achieved its intended purpose.
From an operational standpoint, the project aims to conduct two-hour-long classes on a weekly basis, with each session accommodating up to 20 students aged 12 to 17. To ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective, periodic assessments and reviews will be conducted, enabling continuous refinement of teaching methodologies and course content.
