Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering | Chennai, India | Advancing SDG 5 & UNAI 6

" I want to be part of the Millennium Fellowship because it aligns perfectly with my aspirations to become a more impactful leader in social justice and gender equality. I am excited about the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of students, which would broaden my understanding of complex social issues and equip me with various approaches to social impact work. The Fellowship’s focus on leadership development is particularly appealing as it will help me enhance my communication, teamwork, and strategic planning skills. Additionally, its connection to the UN’s SDGs, especially SDG 5, resonates deeply with my commitment to achieving gender equality. Being part of this program would not only support me in launching and leading impactful social initiatives but also provide a platform to amplify my advocacy efforts, inspire others, and create lasting change. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Masked Voices
Our project, "Mass to voices," is a safe onlinespace where individuals can share their
thoughts and experiences about gender issues anonymously. It aims to foster open
and honest conversations, providing a platform for people to discuss topics such as
gender identity, stereotypes, and discrimination without fear of judgment. By allowing users to speak freely and anonymously, Mass to voices seeks to promote
understanding and empathy while amplifying diverse voices in the discussion of
gender-related issues.
