Millennium Fellowship Project: Wings of Resiliance
Wings of Resilience is a psychosocial and educational initiative dedicated to supporting Syrian refugee children affected by war and displacement. The project addresses the dual challenges of trauma and disrupted education, offering a holistic approach to healing and growth. Through activities like group counseling, art therapy, play therapy, and project-based learning, we aim to create a nurturing environment where children can develop emotional resilience and regain a sense of agency.
Our work focuses on equipping children with coping mechanisms and practical skills, fostering a supportive community, and empowering them to pursue their educational aspirations. By integrating therapeutic techniques with hands-on learning, we help children overcome the psychological and educational barriers they face, restoring hope and enabling them to envision a brighter future.
Wings of Resilience is driven by a commitment to creating sustainable change, ensuring that each child not only heals from the past but also thrives in the present and future. Through continuous evaluation and adaptation of our programs, we aim to provide meaningful, lasting support for these children and their communities.
