Millennium Fellowship Project: Plastic Recycling To Making Sustainable Building Materials
Am working on a project to recycle the plastic bottles like;
1) Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET or PETE)
2) High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
3) Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC or Vinyl)
4) Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
5) Polypropylene (PP)
6) Polystyrene (PS or Styrofoam)
to produce blocks,pavers and other building materials that are durable and would
reduce the plastic waste.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mathews Zimba a zambian national, 2nd year student at strathmore unniversity studying bachelor of business information technology. passionate about the environment and how to preserve it for our future generations to come and eager to learn more about ways i can contribute to that goal as well as interact with different individuals with the same idea and goals from diffrent cultures across the globe.
