" I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge to become a more effective leader for my peers as their class representative, with ambitions to participate in the university's Student Council. Becoming a Millennium Fellow would allow me to enhance my abilities and further develop as an individual. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Femiwareness

I recognized the urgent need to raise awareness about the challenges women in our community face, particularly the issue of femicide. This project centered on civic education about feminism and femicide, aiming to shed light on the harsh realities through real-life stories of women whose lives were tragically cut short—women who, like us, had dreams, futures, and loved ones. These stories highlighted not only the personal loss but also the systemic failures of our judicial system, which often fails to deliver justice or ensure the safety of women. The project sought to humanize the issue by sharing these narratives, spark critical conversations, and inspire collective action toward meaningful change.
