Millennium Fellowship Project: Oral Health Promotion in Children
The project was dedicated to improve oral health status and eradicate common oral diseases among children by knowledge provision to them as well as oral health promotion. Children were given knowledge concerning oral hygiene and the methods they can use to preserve their oral health and overall health in general. They were also taught the consequences they can face if they will not preserve their oral cavity. Besides being given the oral health knowledge, they were also taught how they can brush their teeth and they also got the chance to brush their teeth as demonstrated earlier by us.
This all project program was done in schools especially nursery and primary schools as the quickest way to reach children in Zanzibar.
