" The Millennium Fellowship is a privilege, a challenge, and a responsibility. It is a
privilege because it connects me with a global network of driven, passionate
individuals committed to making a difference. It is a challenge because it pushes me to think bigger, to step out of my comfort zone, and to develop innovative solutions for the complex issues our world faces. It is a responsibility because I am not just representing myself but also my community, and I am entrusted with the task of driving meaningful change. Ultimately, it is the opportunity of a lifetime, one that I am excited and honored to embrace. "

The Incubator Program is a structured initiative designed to support student entrepreneurs in developing and launching their business ideas. After a successful year, the program is returning with a new two-phase format aimed at increasing participation and diversity in student-led startups.
The first phase, known as the Talent Accelerator, will take place during the first semester and will involve around 30 students. These participants will form teams and begin developing their business ideas. This phase lowers the barriers to entry, allowing a larger pool of students to engage with the program. At the end of the semester, the top five teams will be chosen to advance to the second phase.
During the second semester, these teams will enter the Incubator phase. Here, they will focus on meeting key milestones, known as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to unlock funding and advance their ventures. The program will conclude with a Demo Day in late February, where the finalist teams will showcase their progress and prepare for the Dragons' Den final pitch competition.
The Incubator Program offers a structured, supportive environment for student entrepreneurs to grow their ideas into fully formed startups, providing valuable resources and mentorship along the way.

About the Millennium Fellow

Hello! I'm Jimena, originally from Peru and currently studying in Dublin, Ireland. I am a final year student at Trinity College Dublin, pursuing Political Science & Economics.
Currently, I am the Political Analysis & Social Media Intern at the Embassy of Peru in Ireland. I'm also a College Global Ambassador, acting as a point of contact for students in the university, as well as leading tours and events.
I was honoured with the Laidlaw scholarship, and I conducted research on the 'Experience of Ukrainian Refugees in Ireland' during the summer of 2023. I joined the Spanish Red Cross as part of the leadership component of the programme in the summer of 2024. Now, I am happy to share that I will be part of The Millennium Fellowship Class of 2024!
I am also the head photographer for Trinity News, a newspaper at my university, as well as for our Student Union's Events Committee. This involves photojournalism, event photography, videography, and editing, which I really enjoy.
I'm very committed to volunteering, and my aspirations centre on public policy, refugee advocacy, and diplomacy. I am so excited!
