United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Our mission is to inspire and empower aspiring change-makers by fostering a community that shares knowledge, sparks innovation, and accelerates impactful solutions for a sustainable future.

About the Millennium Fellow

Melis Asiyo Sarfati is a young and passionate student at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on Economics and Business. She was born in Istanbul, Turkey where her interest in sustainability and climate issues materialized. Throughout her High School and College years she has dedicated her time to entrepreneurial projects focusing on sustainability, international issues and participated in various competitions. Melis aspires to actively apply her knowledge of ESG, passion for advancement in her professional field, ultimately contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
