United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: First Responders

The First Responders Initiative is a project aimed at empowering young individuals with essential first-aid skills. By utilizing available resources and partnering with local experts, the project seeks to create a network of trained first responders who can effectively respond to emergencies within their communities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Josephine Ivur Mundi is a final year medical student born in and currently resides in Abuja, Nigeria. Beyond her academic pursuits, she has a strong passion for health education and raising awareness concerning climate changes, waste management, specially focusing on how our lifestyle choices and bad leadership can impact the environment and contribute to waste mismanagement related catastrophes.
Josephine actively participates in initiatives promoting renewable energy, reducing waste, and conserving natural resources. She engages in community outreach programs, and collaborates with like-minded individuals to drive environmental consciousness.
She aspires to be a leading voice in environmental health, to contribute to policy development, enforcement and sustainable practices.
