Millennium Fellowship Project: First Responders
The First Responders Initiative is a project aimed at empowering young individuals with essential first-aid skills. By utilizing available resources and partnering with local experts, the project seeks to create a network of trained first responders who can effectively respond to emergencies within their communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Maryam Umar is a hardworking individual who has a passion to help people. She is a 5th year medical student and founder of HEMAHELP society, a nongovernmental organization that helps patient in the hospital recruit blood donors. Recently, she started a YouTube channel called Healthwithmaryam where she talks about all things health ranging from disease outbreaks like monkeypox, to health advice like how to eat well for good health. She is consistently searching for ways to improve, herself to gain advantages that will place her in a better position to help people.
