" I am thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow because it provides me with the opportunity to make a positive impact on my campus. By leveraging my previous projects and network, my goal is to educate my fellow students about how environmental law can be utilized to promote the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encourage more conscientious and sustainable practices. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Arctic Resilience Storyboard

My Millennium Fellowship project, titled "What it Means to be Resilient: Lessons from the Arctic," involves creating a virtual Arctic Resilience Storyboard in collaboration with Nord University's High North Centre for Business and Governance and the Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center Arctic Initiative. Building on my summer research in Bodø, Norway, where I compiled case studies on Arctic communities' resilience to climate change and global challenges, this initiative aims to raise awareness about these communities' vulnerabilities and adaptive strategies.
The storyboard showcases the case studies I developed and serves as a community forum supporting an ongoing book project. By increasing the visibility of this research and engaging a wider audience, the platform enhances the project's educational impact while emphasizing the importance of understanding and supporting Arctic resilience.
