" I am thrilled to be part of the Millennium Fellowship because it aligns perfectly with my mission to create meaningful, lasting change. This fellowship offers a unique platform to expand my efforts in empowering women and children through education and financial independence. By leveraging my background in economics, law, and management, I plan to develop initiatives that provide women and children with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive. My goal is to foster economic empowerment, ensuring that these communities can achieve financial independence and contribute to a more just, equitable world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SANA

"SANA" translates to "for you" in Turkish, and it symbolizes the essence of the "Me for You" program. This initiative aims to foster communal and personal growth, regardless of background. Participants engage in a three-fold approach to uplift their community. Initially, volunteers provide virtual and real-time education to women and children, covering topics like financial literacy, English, and mathematics. The program's second aspect involves offering micro-loans to members active in the SANA foundation for over three months. These loans, ranging from $10 to $50, carry minimal interest rates, empowering recipients to establish bank accounts or start small businesses to help them attain financial freedom and stability. In the third facet, recipients of micro-loans or beneficiaries of SANA's educational efforts are encouraged to give back. They can do so by providing employment opportunities through their businesses or by passing on their knowledge to others. This cyclical model ensures sustainable community development, where each participant becomes both a learner and a teacher, contributing to collective prosperity.
