Millennium Fellowship Project: Training Local Farmers In Sustainable Agriculture
This project focuses on training local farmers in sustainable agricultural practices, recognizing the increasing use of social media among farmers for communication and information dissemination. The project leverages this trend by combining on-site practical training with online resources and engagement through social media platforms. To date, approximately 100,000 youths have been reached through social media outreach promoting sustainable agriculture, and 100 youths have participated in on-site training workshops.
About the Millennium Fellow
Njongo Sindy Nguegim is a passionate advocate for sustainable agriculture and a dedicated climate activist. As the Founder and CEO of African Humanitarian Development Peace Organization-AHDPO, she promotes environmentally-friendly farming practices, while her roles as Country Coordinator for Eco Network Global and Vice Coordinator for the University of Buea SDG Hub showcase her commitment to raising awareness and implementing sustainable solutions. Her experience as a Senior Agricultural Technician and her active volunteer work further solidify her dedication to environmental stewardship. Njongo's leadership and commitment to climate action make her a true force for positive change in building a more sustainable future for all.
