The Adolescence Empowerment: Mental Health
Advocacy project is about advocating for the
mental health of our Adolescents. The essence
of this project is to reach out Adolescents and
educate them on the dangers of social vices and
how they can shape their mind to ensure they
contribute meaningfully to the growth of the
society. The Adolescence stage of human
development is a crucial stage which most times
determine how most individual grow up and
affect their society. Therefore it is paramount that
the Adolescents in our community have the right
information and are taught about the importance
of mental health.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ejikeme Abuoma is a dedicated undergraduate student from Nigeria, studying at the University of Ibadan, University College Hospital. Passionate about social impact and community development, she is known for her leadership skills and commitment to making a difference. Abuoma actively engages in initiatives promoting education, female health, and sustainable development. Driven by a desire to empower others, she works to create lasting change. Through her academic pursuits and extracurricular activities, Abuoma aims to bridge gaps in her community, contributing to a brighter and more equitable future
