Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Climax

Initially, my project was centred on raising awareness on the impact of Climate change on Person Living with Disabilities. That is SDG 3 (Good health and well-being) and SDG 13(Climate Action Change).
The details and key Performance Index of the project was
1) To create awareness on the impact of Climate change on Persons Living with Disabilities and the environment. Also, to distribute waste bins as incentives to stir their interest in Climate adaptation strategies.
2) To have an on-air awareness program that delves into the roles of Physiotherapy in the advocacy for he right of persons living with disabilities. The radio talk would also demystify misconceptions about persons living with disabilities specific to physical impairments. And also discussing strategies and actionable steps that can aid inclusivity of People Living with Disabilities into the society.
The discourse would also cover the effect of Climate change on these persons.
