United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Proper Waste Disposal

Project evolving reaching out individuals in agbowo community, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. About the deleterious effect of improper waste disposal and raise aware winners about climate change also.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ifeoluwa Praise Bolaji is an emerging woman who embodies grace drives with guts and grinds with grits. She is a 4th year medical student at the University of Ibadan College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria. She was born in Ibadan too and has had all her formal education in this same town. A real towns girl. Ifeoluwa has always been one who recognized problems in her environment and innovatively came up with solutions. She loves to advocate for change and environmental development. This drive has led to become a woman of impact in her society. In her university days, she was able to recognize the rising need for climate change innovations as she could forsee danger ahead if ignored. She has successfully been able to join movements that align with her passion and through her outstanding leadership skills and innovation she plans to continue this.
She strongly desires to be in a professional field where she can cultivate these advocacies further and provide her own contribution in the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals.
