" "The health of the environment is deeply connected to our own; we can't truly be well if our environment isn't in a state of wellbeing. I want to help more people understand this connection, and the Millennium Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to learn, enhance my ability to drive change, and expand my impact in promoting environmental health." Millennium Fellowship Project: The Green Revolution Project

The green revolution project aims to enhance health outcomes by tackling plastic pollution in Ibadan, Nigeria. The focus of this project is on the persistent challenge of poor waste management, particularly the buildup of plastic waste in schools, markets, and residential areas. Through advocacy visits, conducted to secondary schools, the initiative aims to educate students on proper waste disposal and recycling practices in order to nurture environmental awareness and responsibility from an early age.
