Millennium Fellowship Project: London Hallyu Festival
The London Hallyu Festival (LOHAF) celebrates Korean heritage and culture in various locations throughout London and England. The festival showcased a wide range of cultural representations, from Korean food to K-pop. It also acted as a forum for various industry and community leaders to build lasting relationships that will impact the wider Korean diaspora in the UK and Europe.
About the Millennium Fellow
Heechan Lee is a dedicated Politics and International Relations student at UCL with a strong passion for intercultural dialogue and grassroots movements. Raised in both South Korea and Scotland, Heechan's diverse background has shaped his commitment to inclusive communities. His role as an interpreter at international conferences, including those with Nobel Prize laureates and leading innovators, underscores his global perspective. Heechan’s community campaigns have attracted media attention and high-profile endorsements, earning him the Presidential Scholar title in 2019. Through the Millennium Fellowship, Heechan aims to leverage his experiences to drive grassroots initiatives advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
